Bloodmobile rolls in Oct. 17

The health department’s next Kentucky Blood Center Blood Drive is scheduled 2:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17. The Bloodmobile will be parked outside of 650 Newtown Pike. Employees wanting to donate blood (with supervisor approval) should contact Sara Gabbard at ext. 2301, or by email, to find out which slots are still available. True donors, those who are able to give blood and aren’t turned away, will be eligible for the chance to win a $50 Kroger gift card. Also, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, donors will receive a pink insulated tumbler.
