Know your risk: Diabetes Alert Day is March 26
Tuesday, March 26, is Diabetes Alert Day, and all Public Health employees are encouraged to find out what their diabetes risk is March 25-29. Take the NDEP paper risk test and get a ticket to possibly win one of five $20 Subway gift certificates. The drawings for the gift certificates will take place on Friday, March 29.
The following staff will have the risk tests and tickets for your use:

650 Newtown Pike, third floor – Becky Lynn
650 Newtown Pike, fourth floor – Nancy Turner
Janey Wendschlag will assist staff at the Regency Road WIC on March 26.
American Diabetes Association Alert Day is a one-day “wake-up call” asking the American public to take the Diabetes Risk Test to find out if they are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. The Diabetes Risk Test ask users to answer simple questions about weight, age, family history and other potential risk factors for prediabetes or type 2 diabetes.
