Walk to stop diabetes
Members of the Fayette County Diabetes Coalition invite you to join them in the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes June 1. The team also invites you to wear red on Wednesday, May 22, to raise awareness for diabetes. Staff will also be distributing postcards to promote the walk on this date.
The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department’s Diabetes Program offers the Diabetes Prevention Program through our wellness program, and also offers FREE group classes to help a person control their type 2 diabetes four times per month. Learn more about the classes here.
