Open House on National HIV Testing Day
The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department’s HIV Prevention and Outreach Program invites you to a special Open House 10 am.-1 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at 805B Newtown Circle as part of National HIV Testing Day. The open house is designed to make our staff more aware of the services offered by the HIV Prevention and Outreach program, including seeing how quick and easy HIV testing can be, which should make it more convenient when sharing that information with patients/clients.
The open house will include:
- Prizes (one raffle ticket will be given for attending and another ticket will be given to anyone who takes part in the oral swab test for HIV)
- A chance to meet the HIV Prevention and Outreach staff and ask any questions you might have about the services
In addition, anyone who gets tested for HIV will get double the wellness points (50 points instead of the usual 25). The tests are anonymous and confidential – NO personal information is required.
For more information about the open house or about the HIV testing for the day, please email Lauren Kirk.
