In case you missed our previous post, CHEE is gearing up to host the Minority Family Wellness Expo 11 a.m.-3 p.m. this Saturday, June 22, at the WWBCC. This free event features a variety of health screenings and family activities. Screenings available include: BMI, glucose, blood pressure, diabetes foot screenings, cholesterol, hearing, vision, HIV testing, height, weight, dental checks and more. There will also be interactive demonstrations and aerobics; face painting for kids; and the inflatable colon will be on display outside of the center. Prizes, gift cards and incentives will also be available, including chances to win a bicycle and hula hoops.
CHEE also hopes to see you, and your family, at the event! By attending the expo, you can even earn 10 points toward your Worksite Wellness Incentive Plan (points will be applied to the 2013-14 cycle).
