Employees compete in a stirring competition


About a dozen LFCHD employees competed for the annual Chili Master Trophy, but only one walked away the winner.

Saymond Ardila’s “Rico Suave Chili” took top honors in the annual LFCHD Chili Cook-off held Wednesday, Oct. 23. Becky Pirkle’s “Nana’s Ranch Style Chili” placed second.

Thanks to everyone who cooked chili and to those who sampled it, with $200 in donations being made to the United Way of the Bluegrass.
