The Public Health Employee Association (EA) recently arranged for food trucks to visit the Newtown Circle Campus to give employees new lunch options. The EA also helped employees chill for a moment this summer by treating them to a shaved ice from the KONA Ice Truck.

Next up, the Association has arranged for representatives from Costco to visit Lexington-Fayette County Health Department sites on these dates/times to answer questions about Costco memberships and renewals, and to give employees the opportunity to take advantage of a special offer: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at 650 Newtown Pike (Training Room) and Friday, Aug. 15, at 805A Newtown Circle (Conference Room 3). The EA will also gather with employees at Whitaker Bank Ballpark on Saturday, Aug. 9, when the health department will be the featured community organization of the night at the Lexington Legends baseball game.

If you are interested in becoming a member of EA and want to help plan future events, please feel free to join the group at their next meeting 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 805A Newtown Circle (Conference Room 1).
