The Public Health Employee Association invited employees to a night with the Lexington Legends at Whitaker Bank Ballpark Saturday, Aug. 9. Employees received a free ticket to the Legends game upon request and had the option to purchase additional tickets for friends and family. During the game, Commissioner of Health Dr. Rice Leach welcomed the crowd and completed a radio interview to let the community know how the department has been helping Lexington be well since 1904. Several employees were also on-hand to pass out nearly 300 promotional fans and information about various public health programs.

Did you snap a picture at the game that we’ve missed in the slideshow above? If so, please send via email to Greg Hiles at your convenience.
