Moon offers tips to gain wellness challenge points!

There are plenty of ways you can participate in the Bluegrass Wellness at Work Challenge; just take it from last year’s agency winner, Julie Moon!

“I tried to find inventive ways to collect points,” she said. “At hjulie.jpgome, I remained as active as possible. You would be surprised at how many things that you can do around the house to remain active.”

Julie, who won a Fitbit for having the most total points in the challenge, offers these helpful hints to increase your daily points:

  • Walking during 15 minute breaks
  • Walking during lunch
  • Yardwork/gardening
  • Walking the dog
  • Gym membership
  • House work
  • Home Repair – active
  • Painting
  • Running
  • Swimming
  • Walking at the Arboretum
  • Games – Badminton
  • Hiking
  • Vacuuming
